The South Florida Striders is a non-profit organization and running club. The club was established in 1979 when it was known as the Miami Shores Running Club. Our name changed to the South Florida Striders in 1994 to better reflect the changing demographics of our membership in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The club currently consists of about 250 members. Officers and Board Members are elected at the annual club picnic in April.
